best way to make an assembly in Solidworks

hi, I'm a newbie here and I have a question in Solidworks assembly. which method is best and less troublesome to make an assembly between multibody part modeling or build each part individually and bring into an assembly?

Think in terms of the effort required to create detail drawings of the individual parts in a multi body part file. Also consider how it will affect your parts/BOM lists. While there are some cases where design efficiencies can be gained in a multi body environment, the overall workflow for all things design related doesn’t work well in the multi body environment. Also consider the reuse of individual parts in other assemblies. A multi body design process doesn’t work well for data reuse since parts are often hard linked to their related parts. I often take existing parts and do a save-as and then make minor changes for a one-off part. That’s not easily done in a multi body environment.
