In this video, we will learn how to search and automatically select elements in CATIA. This can be a very helpful time-saving tool, especially when working with large assemblies. We will start by learning how to use the basic search tools in CATIA. We can search by name, type, color, and other properties. We can also use advanced search operators to combine multiple criteria. Once we have found the elements we want to select, we can use the automatic selection feature to select them all at once. This can be done by clicking the "Find and Select" button in the search dialog box. We will also learn how to save our search queries as favorites so that we can easily reuse them later. By the end of this video, you will be able to search and automatically select elements in CATIA like a pro!

Static structural analysis of a plier will be done in Solidowrks simulation using solidowrks pin connection tool. The set of pliers shown below is used to tighten a bolt. It is desired to calculate the stresses when the process is just starting. The bolt provides a torsional stiffness of 200 lb.in/rad to the pliers. Forces to secure the grip and prevent slipping are applied to the handles. A couple of forces are applied on opposite faces of the handles to rotate the bolt.
